BASIC FUNCTION: The Corporate Banking Coordinator is a key member within the Corporate Banking department and is responsible for coordination and administrative support as it relates to the corporate banking group business transactions. This individual will serve as a point of contact with customers both remotely and on site and will primarily support the deal team including the relationship managers, underwriting, and operations teams with any customer needs they may have. An active notary license is preferred, but not required and can be obtained upon hire.
Daily activities of this role will include primary reception and front office, coordination of on-site office activities, document/spreadsheet preparation, shipping and receiving, and communication routing. The ideal candidate is required to balance multiple priorities at a given time and deliver in a highly confidential and timely manner with a high sense of urgency to ensure superior service for our corporate customers.
This position is fully onsite at the Eureka, California office and typical working hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am-5pm.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES: - Welcomes guests and customers by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; liaises with organizations and clients in responding to routine inquiries or directing them as appropriate.
- Assist customers with submitting complete loan applications, signing and/or notarizing loan documents, and calculating payment amounts, including processing of same. Aid customers with online banking enrollment or other technical questions.
- Assists the Corporate Banking team with the processing and completion of client requests and queries. Assemble, copy, and distribute hard copy and/or digital documents for corporate banking transactions. Prepare documents and other communications including disseminating, editing, storing, proofing, printing, etc.
- Compile, verify and distribute loan documents to Collateral Custodian and CMG Collateral Custodian under direction of assigned loan team member.
- Maintain Corporate document storage and retention alongside our vendor. Maintain organizational and filing system best practices in a proactive manner, files, indexes and cross-references correspondence and files.
- Process/verify invoices in DocLink.
- Support assigned business partners and projects with the coordination and implementation of their key objectives.
- Schedule and coordinate local meetings, events, and other activity. Coordinating with event leaders on budget, timeframe, and additional requirements as needed.
- Embrace the ownership of all Association spaces by proactively addressing the organization and safety of the common spaces. Ensure issues and needs are reported to Facilities, Technology, and/or other impacted departments.
- Maintain office and kitchen supply stocks while staying conscientious of appropriate budget expectations and maintaining fiscal responsibility.
- Connect with staff as a culture conduit for local office(s) and inspire connection and inclusion.
- Act as gatekeeper and building security by reporting or acting upon questionable, suspicious or dangerous activity while working onsite.
- Serve as Eureka Office Facilities Coordinator, which includes responsibilities such as regular safety checks, coordinating with contractors and other vendors for repairs or building improvements and cleaning, maintaining office equipment and spare workstations in operational order.
- Serve as Eureka Office Safety Coordinator, which includes responsibilities such as facilitating training sessions or drills, maintaining emergency kits and plans.
- Responsible for Association pool vehicle maintenance and record keeping.
- Perform other functions as assigned
LEVELS OF SUPERVISION EXCERSIED AND RECEIVED Exercises no supervision; works under general direction and supervision of the Head of Corporate Operations or their designee.
TYPICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE: - High school diploma or equivalent is required, some college education is preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or office support focused role is required, previous experience in a banking environment preferred.
- Certified Notary Public commission is required (within three months of hire).
- Thorough knowledge of the correct use of the English language, excellent proofreading, editing, formatting, and spelling skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficient in working with documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
- Exceptional verbal, written, and analytical skills.
- Ability to problem solve, execute work quickly, accurately, and thoughtfully.
- Professional presence, positive demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees and management.
- High level of integrity and discretion, sound judgment, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to travel domestically up to 5% annualy.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have the ability to perform basic office tasks and work in a typical office setting. Employee will be sitting for extended periods of time and accomplishing work at a desk and work at a computer for an extended period of time. Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to adequately convey ideas and work well with a team. Ability to talk and hear, sit and use their hands and fingers, and reach in all directions is essential in performance of the job. Some lifting and moving of items up to 25 pounds required. Work during established business hours and may require occasional weekend and/or evening work. Travel required in performance of job.
FULL-TIME ONSITE: These roles and job functions require employees to work onsite at one of our offices to continue to provide exceptional customer service and support our business goals.
PAY RANGE: Minimum $51,346.52 - Max $77,019.78 Annual
This range is reflective of the national salary average for this position and will be adjusted using geographic variance for physical location of the hired candidate. American AgCredit may compensate outside of the salary range for bona fide reasons not related to membership in a protected class.
