We seek a Senior Application Analyst to work on digital initiatives as part of our Epic Patient Engagement team.
The work includes new set of configurations and support models for connecting Epic with Microsoft Teams into clinician workflows using Epic Hyperspace, MyChart, Haiku, Canto, and EpicCare Link. The Epic product-specific build includes scheduling and workflows of providers and patients, plus support models to achieve a successful implementation and ongoing support. The architecture will be EPIC based.
Responsibilities include:
- Analyze complex business problems and specify the functionality of solutions with minimal oversight. Work independently to provide technical expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
- Determine and communicate issues/risks.
- Provide Project Management support .
- Collaborate with stakeholders and users to assess business needs, provide relevant solutions, and properly manage expectations.
- Conduct data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Prepare detailed requirements specifications, process flow and other required documents.
- Create training materials and/or participate in training.
- Provide leadership to team members.
- Participate in off-hours on-call rotation.
Requirements include:
- Epic certification in MyChart with Ambulatory or Healthy Planet.
- 4+ years in a similar role in healthcare IT.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Experience working with operations leaders and IT executives.
- Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient workflows.
- Proficiency in documentation, particularly test plans and use cases.
- Proficiency in communicating with business users, vendors, and technical staff.
- Strong technology skills and understanding, with the ability to work effectively with managers, users, and technical staff, and be pro-active in problem resolution.
Epic certification is a condition of employment.
