PDQ Staffing in Oak Cliff is currently seeking warehouse associates with Reach Truck and Cherry Picker forklift experience in Desoto area, Must also be comfortable using and have computer knowledge. In this position, you will be responsible for loading and unloading products in the trucking bay for the shipping and receiving department. You will work closely with inventory control workers to scan shipments and ensure we receive the right amount of certain products. When you find errors, you will report them immediately to the warehouse manager. All applicants must be licensed forklift operators and have some general warehouse experience.

Job Type: Reach Truck / Cherry Picker forklift

Pay Rate: $19.00

Schedule: 6 am to 2:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Fill customer orders by operating a Cherry Picker / Reach Truck in a fast-paced environment.
• Operates equipment to move products efficiently and safely.
• Uses an RF scanner gun to determine the proper products to be moved, gathered, or distributed for completing customer orders.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets, shelves, or conveyor belts based on the necessary route for the packing station or shipping department.
• Assist the Receiving Department with unloading new arrival merchandise from trucks when needed.
• Assist inventory and returns department with day-to-day operations.
• Assemble parts to build various types of lockers and cabinets.
• Utilize various manual, air, and electrical hand tools efficiently and safely.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience operating a Reach Truck and/or Cherry Picker is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working in a Warehouse environment is required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with material handling equipment required.
• Previous experience utilizing an RF Scanner is required.
• Must be proficient in reading and interpreting assembly instructions and drawings to facilitate the assembly process.
• Independently able to lift products weighing up to 75 lbs. continuously in a productive environment.
• Able to stand, walk, pull, and bend 100% of the day continuously in a fast-paced environment.
• Reading and comprehension skills. Must be certified to operate Cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack
