Description:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated People and Culture Training Manager to join our team. As the People and Culture Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of The Springs Resort associates. The role will play a vital part in ensuring that our workforce is well-equipped to understand The Springs Resort culture to deliver exceptional Guest experiences.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Training Program Development: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the specific needs of The Springs Resort associates, including front desk staff, housekeeping, bathhouse, food and beverage, maintenance, pool grounds, spa and others.

· Training Needs Assessment: Conduct regular training needs assessments by collaborating with department heads and supervisors to identify skill gaps and areas for improvement. Analyze performance data and feedback to determine the training requirements of different teams.

· Curriculum Design: Create and maintain a diverse range of training modules, including orientation, customer service, sales and upselling, technical skills, safety and security, compliance, and leadership development. Ensure that training materials are engaging, relevant, and aligned with industry standards and The Springs Resort culture.

· Training Delivery: Facilitate training sessions using a variety of methods, such as classroom instruction, or on-the-job training, role-playing, simulations, and e-learning platforms. Deliver training programs effectively to diverse groups of associates, ensuring knowledge retention and practical application.

· Training Evaluation and Feedback: Develop and implement evaluation strategies to assess the effectiveness of training programs. Collect and analyze data to measure the impact of training on associate performance, guest satisfaction, and overall hotel operations. Solicit feedback from participants and make continuous improvements to training initiatives.

· Onboarding and Orientation: Develop and oversee a comprehensive onboarding process for new hires, including orientation sessions, job shadowing, and buddy/mentor systems. Ensure that new associates receive the necessary training and support to quickly integrate into their roles and the The Springs Resort culture.

· Compliance and Regulatory Training: Stay up to date with relevant employment laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure that all associates receive mandatory training on topics such as safety, harassment prevention, diversity and inclusion, and other legal requirements.

· Team Collaboration: Work directly with the People and Culture team, and closely with department managers, and other stakeholders to identify training priorities, align training initiatives with The Springs Resort’s strategic goals, culture and ensure a consistent and cohesive approach to associate development.

· The position reports to the Director of People and Culture

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related experience

- 5+ years of experience in training and development, preferably in a Human Resources role

- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies

- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong organizational and project management skills

- Proficient in Microsoft Office
