As the Parts Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the parts department. This includes managing inventory, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading the parts team to achieve departmental goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience, a thorough understanding of parts management, and a passion for the boating and power sports industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and motivate the parts department staff to ensure high performance, professional development, and product knowledge.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss goals, performance, areas for improvement, and delegate tasks as necessary.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
  • Monitor and forecast the ordering, receiving, and stocking of parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Monitor inventory turnover, minimize obsolescence, and implement measures to reduce shrinkage and discrepancies.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by providing expert advice and solutions to customer’s parts needs.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Develop/execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets, profitability objectives, increase parts sales, and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the management team to implement initiatives that enhance overall company performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of all transactions, inventory, customer interactions, and monitor reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all dealership policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience, in any industry.
  • Knowledge of inventory management/ordering systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales and inventory data to make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
  • Strong Knowledge of marine engines, ATVs, motorcycles, or similar power sports vehicles is highly preferred.

Experience/Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3 years of management experience (Required)
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills to lead teams through the entire process from concept development to production delivery.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Type: Full-Time, 40+ hrs./wk. Monday-Friday; **Saturday Availability**

Annual Salary: Starting at $56,000. Based on Experience, Comprehensive Benefits Package Available, including Employee Discounts, 40 Hours Sick and 80 Hours Paid Time Off without a waiting period!
