Kyocera Senco Industrial Tools, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic Quality Manager to lead our Quality Department!

You will oversee the activity of the quality assurance department and staff, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organizations products and development processes in our Cincinnati, Ohio location.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish quality benchmarks and ensure alignment throughout organization.
• Develop, implement, and manage processes to ensure that products meet the required specifications for quality, function and reliability prior to delivery. Inspections and processes include:
  • Incoming component and material audits.
  • In-process manufacturing audits.
  • Finished goods audits.
• Ensure proper equipment, gaging and calibration systems are in place for audit equipment.
• Disposition discrepant materials and document corrective action plans.
• Ensure proper training of quality and floor personnel.
• Produce reports outlining adherence and deviation from quality standards.
• Ensure TTC (Taiwan Technical Center) alignment with quality standards and ensure adherence for offshore products.
• Review customer and field product complaints. Assist with disposition of quality complaints.
• Assist with qualification of new component/material vendors.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hire and train quality assurance staff.
• Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department.
• Conducts annual performance reviews and goal setting for department staff.

Experience and Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or a related field.

Three to five years of experience in a related field with supervisory experience a plus.
