Job Description: At Regions, the Systems Administrator oversees installing, configuring, and maintaining operating system workstations and servers, including web servers, in support of business processing requirements. Primary Responsibilities Provides expertise to the design, planning, implementation, operation, and security of systems Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning of the organization Oversees the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system Monitors and maintains continuity with system software licensing and maintenance agreements Provides recommendations regarding hardware and system software planning and budgeting Manages compliance in Security and Regulatory standards Some scripting (i.e. PowerShell and Bash) Conducts routine hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines Develops and maintains a comprehensive operating system hardware and software configuration database/library of all supporting documentation Drives improvements to processes and design enhancements Coordinates, facilitates, and verifies projects across multiple environments Requirements Bachelor's degree in a related field or a technical training program with six (6) years of related experience Or, a High School Diploma or GED with ten (10) years of related experience Skills and Competencies Ability to multitask and prioritize projects Ability to work well in a fast-paced team-oriented environment Advanced knowledge of operating systems Excellent customer service skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal communication skills Systems Engineering Exchange on prem and online Subject Matter Expert with Microsoft 365 MS-900 Microsoft 365 Fundamentals or relevant experience Experience with working within a highly secured and regulated enviroment Experience with Splunk / SEIM logging integration engineering Archiving, Retention, Support of E Discovery Efforts within an enterprise (Smarsh, ProofPoint, etc.) Experience with and proficient with Powershell Experience designing complex systems and creating reference architecture diagrams Enterprise Administration Experience with ProofPoint, Smarsh, Global Relay, or Zip Lip This position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience This position must be within a reasonable driving distance to a Branch, Consumer Operations, or Professional Office Building in one of the following locations: Birmingham, AL Nashville, TN Atlanta, GA Charlotte, NC Dallas, TX Houston, TX Denver, CO Orlando, FL Tampa, FL Salt Lake City, UT Regions will not provide relocation assistance for this position and would be at your own expense Position Type Full time Compensation Details Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions.
