Job Description

Groot Hospitality is a Miami Beach, Florida-based collective of top restaurants, bars, cafés, nightlife ventures and hotels. Officially formed in 2018 by David Grutman, the company is a forerunner in its field. The group creates entirely unique atmospheres of upscale dining, luxe decor, marquee entertainment and highly shareable moments. The group-wide goal is that all guests enjoy an unforgettable escape into Groot’s vibrant, dynamic world. Current Groot Hospitality properties include: The Goodtime Hotel, the nightclubs LIV and STORY, the restaurants Gekkō, Komodo, The Key Club, Papi Steak, Strawberry Moon and Swan. At both the Goodtime Hotel and Swan, Grutman is partners with the multi-hyphenate musician and producer Pharrell Williams – the pair will also open their first resort, Somewhere Else on Atlantis Paradise Island, in 2024. Grutman is also partners with the recording artist and actor Bad Bunny on Gekkō. Multiple other projects are in the pipeline, including an expansion plan that will bring Groot Hospitality to cities worldwide. Ultimately, Groot Hospitality delivers one-of-a-kind outings across its locations and activations. By further programming the company’s physical spaces with an immersive, 360-degree approach — including a focus on headline performances and social media vignettes — we consistently provide our patrons with an experience that is high-energy, high-impact, and highly memorable. Looking for a visionary Senior Restaurant Marketing Manager to lead and oversee the marketing efforts for our diverse portfolio of brands. As the architect of our multi-brand marketing strategy, you'll be responsible for developing and executing impactful campaigns that drive traffic, engagement, and sales across all our restaurants. Strategic Brand Leadership:

  • Multi-Brand Visionary: Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with our overall business objectives and caters to the unique identities of each restaurant brand.
  • Brand Champion: Develop and maintain a strong brand narrative for each restaurant, ensuring brand consistency across all marketing channels.
  • Competitive Edge Expert: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and develop strategies to differentiate our brands in the marketplace.
Marketing Leadership & Team Management:
  • Leadership Maestro: Lead and mentor a team of Marketing Managers, providing guidance, fostering a collaborative environment, and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
  • Strategic Delegation: Delegate tasks effectively, enabling your team to take ownership of their respective brands while maintaining alignment with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Performance Champion: Establish clear goals and KPIs for each brand and marketing channel, measuring performance and driving continuous improvement.
  • Communication Catalyst: Foster open communication within your team and across departments to ensure everyone is aligned with marketing goals and brand initiatives.
Marketing Expertise & Channel Management:
  • Marketing Mastermind: Oversee all aspects of our marketing efforts, including social media marketing collaboration, email marketing, public relations, digital advertising, on-premise marketing and partnerships.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze marketing campaign performance data to identify trends, optimize strategies, and maximize return on investment (ROI).
  • Content Connoisseur: Collaborate with Content Director to generate high-quality content that resonates with target audiences and showcases the unique offerings of each restaurant.
  • Technology Advocate: Stay informed about the latest marketing technologies and tools, recommending and implementing solutions to enhance marketing efforts.
You're the Ideal Candidate if You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience in restaurant marketing or a related field, with a proven track record of success in multi-brand environments.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and mentor a team of Marketing Managers.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns (social media, email, digital advertising) for the restaurant industry.
  • Exceptional understanding of brand building and brand management principles.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to track marketing performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
  • A passion for the restaurant industry and a deep understanding of current trends and consumer behaviors.
