Job Description
Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with beverage machines that provide on-demand flavored and sparkling beverages. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, we've raised over $160M in venture capital and we have grown tremendously each year since launch. In addition to maintaining high growth with our current product line, Bevi continues to invest in new product development.
We are seeking a thoughtful and creative UX Researcher and Designer to join Bevi's Product team, reporting to the Senior UI/UX Designer. This individual will be at the forefront of innovation at Bevi, working alongside our Product Managers, Engineers, and Flavor team to discover and champion the best solutions for our users.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct user research to identify challenges and core needs, often scrappily
- Collect and synthesize user data through interviews, field research, and surveys
- Design consistent user experiences across multiple software applications
- Generate personas, user journey maps, and other UX documentation
- Justify design decisions and advocate for usability principles
- Implement agile UX design techniques to test and iterate on prototypes
- Develop problem statements, a range of solutions, and collect internal and external feedback to evaluate the best solution
- Translate concepts into low and high-fidelity prototypes
- Collaborate with team members across product, flavor, software engineering, and marketing functions where you are encouraged to share and advocate for your ideas in a group setting with diverse perspectives
Requirements - 2-4 years of user research experience
- Proven ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- BS in a related field or equivalent experience
- Strong user research experience and ability to prioritize UX over UI
- Strong communication skills: verbal, written, and visual
- Proficiency in Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to work with Software Engineering to execute designs
- Strong design thinking and critical thinking skills
- Passion for pixel-perfect design and awareness of UX trends
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
